CIVIL CEREMONIES AND PARTNERSHIPS

All of the rooms on the ground floor of St Bride Foundation are licensed for civil marriages and civil partnerships.

The beautiful and ornate Salisbury Room, complete with a working Victorian fireplace can host a classic, yet intimate ceremony room for up to 54 people.

The light and stylish Farringdon room is a larger, more contemporary space for 60 guests.

The Bridewell Hall is our largest room, with an elegant high ceiling, seats up to 150 guests and is perfect space for receptions.

The ceremony must be a non-religious service performed by the Superintendent Registrar or Deputy Superintendent Registrar and can be as simple or elaborate as you wish using your own choice of readings, music and poetry.

We advise you to book your ceremony with the registrars as soon as possible. You can contact Islington Council at:
Islington and City Register Office
Islington Town Hall
Upper Street
London N1 2UD
Tel: 020 75276350
Email: registrars@islington.gov.uk

You will both need to meet with the registrar before the ceremony and we can provide a room for you to do this.
